~A Peek Into Our Week

As I sit in our little house, I am reminded how blessed I am to have a safe haven to rest my soul and draw close to God in prayer for our world and my loved ones.
These are two 5x7 stationary's that I decided I liked so very much, I framed them and hung them in our little bathroom.

I like to keep the decor quite simple in our little bathroom.
This is a little mug that reminded me so very much of a cup I used to drink from when I visited my grandma Kelly as a child.  I found it while thrifting with my parents the other weekend.
My new Victoria magazine came in the mail the other day.
This little sign hangs in our hallway, and it reminds me to count my blessings even in the midst of troubles.
Here is a picture of my precious daughter Lauren while on a road trip with her husband to visit her grandparents.
Now that finally I am feeling better once again, I am enjoying getting up early.  It is a quiet time where I can pray and reflect on things.  It is a time that I can start my day off with peace and prepare for serving my family and those who God brings into my life.
I like to send mail to my loved ones and having been sick for so long, and having to care for my family as they were sick, I sort of stopped writing to people.  However now that I seem to be doing much better, I am writing little notes a little here and there and getting them sent out.  I love stationary, and letter writing.  It is a bit old fashioned, but that's fine with me, as I like things of yesterday with all of my heart.

I pray for all those who visit my space and hope that you can draw close to God during all of the hard times we all are having to walk through the last few years.  I urge you to count your blessings and turn your troubles to Jesus, the prince of peace.  Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog.  Hugs to you.  ~Juli

I'm also a lover of Victoria magazine.
