~A Few Of My Favorite Things~

I just love this coaster that my cousin Teri gave to me.  The message on it comforts my heart.  I keep it on my bedside table.

This is my no burn candle collection.  I change up the front candles for the different seasons.  I just love having these, as they are special to me.  Can you tell that I am eager to celebrate the Holidays?

I love Big Band Music.  This is my favorite CD.  I have one for my car, as listening to it while I drive calms me.  I also keep one to listen to in my little house.

These are some of my birthday dishes.  I got them years ago, and they still warm my heart.  They are Pioneer Woman and they are such nice quality.  

This little fan I found on Amazon, and it is such a blessing when I have those pesky hot flashes.  It even comes with a little case, so it is easy to transport!

Years ago, my sister Lori purchased for me a flannel night gown from LLBEAN.  I loved it so much that I now have four.  I wear them year round and they are just so very comfortable.  

This is a three ring binder that I call my budget notebook.  In this notebook, I track all of our purchases and do a monthly report.  I keep a monthly budget for both our household account and our main account.  It truly has helped me to become good with money, something I had to work very hard to become!

I love my Sugarcreek Amish Mystery books by Guidepost.  My cousin Teri told me about them, and I plan to read them again and again because the characters are so very dear.

When I was a girl I had a sticker book that was very dear to me.  I now have one again.  Every now and then I purchase a 80's sticker on Ebay to add to my collection. I have had it for a few years now, so I have quite a few neat stickers.  I keep it in my Childhood Memories Closet.

This is what I call my Childhood Memories Closet Museum.  It is filled with things that remind me of my childhood and those special memories.  I will sit and look at it, and it just takes me back to those sweet childhood days.

This is my prayer journal.  It is a blessing as I pray for many people in this journal, as well as special prayers and it also contains scripture that I like to read often.  It is such a blessing.

I am thankful for my little cubby that I use to keep my planners and devotionals as well as my Bible.

I just love Victoria Magazine.  I have been reading it since before my children were born. So for about 24 years now.  It did go out of print for a few years, but then it came back!  

I am a firm believer in counting your blessings and having a heart of gratitude for what you do have.  It just helps me to have a happy heart.  I hope you all have had a nice week.
