~A Peek Into Our Week

Today I was thinking about what a comfort home is.  All is quiet in our little house right now.  I have relaxing harp music playing and I am just reflecting on people that have been part of my life.  Most every year around Valentines day I just think back to all the love I have been given in my life.  Love is truly the greatest gift we can give and receive.
Here is a little corner in my house.  I like to surround myself with little quotes that remind me of the joy that comes from living a quiet simple life.
I enjoy making myself a simple little breakfast every now and then.  This was a cheese omelet made with tomato and organic spinach and a juice sized glass of lemonade.
I made our family some peanut butter balls for a little treat the other week.
Our family likes iced tea, so I make it almost daily.  I enjoy using my tea kettle to boil the water.  The whistling sound it makes just brings joy to my heart.  I try to take notice of the little things in
daily life that are lovely.
I like to keep my favorite lotion on my kitchen counter to use as I go about my day.
I keep these little vintage lotion jars all around my house so that I always have my lotion easy to use.  I just refill them when they run low from the lotion bottle in my little kitchen.
I am so thankful for our little house.  I was just talking to my son Justin yesterday evening about how blessed we are to have all of the comforts in our little home.  We must not take for granted those things.  It is so important to have a heart of gratitude.
I am thankful for our little cubby by the front door.  I love that I have such a nice spot to keep my planners and Bible and devotionals.
Here is a little picture that hangs by my kitchen window.  I love this quote.  The moments I have had in my life are now cherished memories that are worth so very much to me.  These moments we spend in our everyday life doing simple things are being stitched into our minds and will be the things we think back on in the future and hold so very dear.  I have to remind myself to try to be present and just slow down a bit, so I don't miss these precious moments.
Thank you for stopping by my little space.  I hope you all are having a cozy week.  Hugs to you. ~Juli

  1. Hi Juli, I enjoyed my visit here today. I like your cubby with your Bible things. Do you Bible journal? That watercolor picture is pretty too. I found you from Teri.
