~A Peek Into Our Week

As always I have been doing laundry.  It is a never ending job, but I truly feel blessed to have a washer and dryer to do the hard work for me.  Not too many years ago our great grandparents had to do it all by hand.
Here is a little bed side table in our guest room.  I have pictures of my grandparents sitting on top.  I  sure do love and miss them, but I know I will see them again one day, and I am still blessed by them, because the love they gave to me still remains in my heart.
I have been organizing and decluttering a lot lately.  I like to organize my drawers as it just makes me happy to have the items I hold dear in neat order.
This is a drawer in my bedside dresser.  I decant my favorite Jergens hand lotion into the vintage estee lauder jar.  I have always enjoyed vintage jars because how beautiful they are as well as being such good quality.  I also keep my essential oils ready to use.
This is the inside of our dresser cabinet.  On the top I keep candles and on the bottom I keep my vitamins and my Benadryl and Robotussin.   I put them into vintage glass vitamin bottles, because it just makes me happy.  My toothbrush is in this cute vintage mug that my cousin Teri and her husband Bill gave to me.  I like using things that are special and not just storing them away.
This is the inside of a little bin that I got off of QVC to keep my planners and binders and the books I am reading in, so they don't look like clutter.
This is how it looks when it is all zipped up.  I am no minimalist, but I do like everything I have to have a home so it does not look like clutter.
My nephew Liam is spending the week of spring break with us.  He and Justin are very close and enjoy spending time with one another.  This morning I have been organizing under my kitchen and bathroom sinks.  I love tackling little jobs here and there, because before you know it your house is in order.

I hope you are all doing well.  We are having some beautiful spring weather here in Kansas this week.  I love hearing the little birds singing in the trees outside my window.  Thank you for coming by my little space.  God bless you and keep you in His loving care.  Hugs to you.  ~Juli
