~A Peek into Our Week~

Lauren had some friends over to celebrate her 15th birthday.  Lauren is such an amazing person.  She is a straight A student, and such a hard worker.  She is the kindest person, and such a caring soul.  I am so blessed to be her mother.
This is what Megan got for Lauren for her birthday gift.  Lauren sleeps with it every night.
After pizza and pie, the children hung out in our down stairs family room.
We are having a bathroom put into Lauren's workout room downstairs.  So our basement is a construction zone right now.
Lauren's normally neat room is a mess and full of stuff for the bathroom.  It will be worth it in the end, but I truly hate clutter and even though I know it has to be this way to get the bathroom complete, it still bothers me.  I sure know I could not live this way all of the time.  I'm thankful it's in the basement.  The family room in the basement is full of stuff as well.

Steven and I were out for a bit this weekend, and I decided to photograph Steven's apartments.  He now has 31 apartments and two houses.  These photos above are all of the apartment houses.

These are the two houses he owns.  He is a busy man, with his job and being a landlord.  He has put a lot of time and money into updating the apartments and houses.  He is a very good landlord, and truly cares about the people he rents to.
Yesterday afternoon, Justin and I went out for lunch together.  We went to his favorite place to eat, Fazzoli's
He is such a sweet little boy.  He was just talking about how much Dad does for us, and how he takes such good care of our family.  He is only ten, but already such a caring little guy.  I don't think at that age I truly appreciated how my parents took care of us, I certainly do as an adult.  I realize not everyone is as lucky as I was to have such good parents.

Lauren, Megan and I went to see the play Scrooge this weekend.  It was so very good!  I loved it.  Well, that is what has been going on in out little home.  I hope you all are having a good Monday.  I have already gotten a lot of house work done.  Monday's are always extra busy for me, as I am gone a lot on the weekends, so the house needs a bit of extra TLC.  Have a great week!
