~Lauren's Promotion into High School~

Last night my sweet little Lauren graduated into high school.  I want to take a moment and tell you about my sweet Lauren.  She is truly special and I'm not sure I will be able to truly do her justice in describing her, but I'm going to give it a go.  Lauren is the kindest person I've ever known.  She treats all people kindly, even if they are not kind to her.  She is very close to God, and once I asked her how she always is so kind, and she said she just thinks of what Jesus would do in any given situation.  For many years she wanted to be a nun, but now she wants to one day be a mother because she loves children so much.  She also wants to be a dentist.  She works very hard in school and gets straight A's.  At her school they don't even do a 10 point grading scale, so it is even harder to get straight A's.  She is so very mature for her age.  She loves to read and travel and is just such an amazing girl.  She has a grace about her, and is truly a lady in every way.   At home she is spunky and funny, although at school she says she is more serious because she wants to learn all that she can.  She is a amazing girl and truly is special.  God has truly blessed this world with Lauren.   She is truly an inspiration to me.
Here is a photo of Lauren when she was just a little girl.  She has always been my little sweet heart.
Here is Lauren the day she made her first communion.

Here is Lauren receiving her certificate yesterday evening.  I thought is was so nice that they had young men helping the girls to get onto the stage and off.
After Mass and the ceremony, they had us go into the auditorium to watch a video of the children when they were babies and now.
Here are Lauren's photos!
Here is the photo that we used of Lauren as a baby.  Even though she is a young lady now, she will always be my baby.
In honor of her promotion, I thought I would take a walk down memory lane with some photos of my sweet girl.
Here she is cooking me breakfast at the Oddle Plex.
This photo was on our family trip to Florida.
Here is Lauren with two of her best friends, Britney and Josh.
Here is Lauren with her friend Ema.  Ema and Lauren are going to Texas for space camp this summer.  She is so very excited!  She love space and refers to herself as a space nerd.  She hopes to get a job at the end of this year at the space museum that my husband and son work at.  She has to wait until she turns 16 for that.
Here is Lauren with her friend Natalie and her little brother Justin.
Here is a photo of my two lovely daughters.  They are my little girls who are growing up into beautiful young ladies.  Sometimes I wonder how I ever got so lucky to have such wonderful children to care for.

I will do a Peek into Our Week blog in the near future.  I just wanted to dedicate this to my sweet Lauren.  Thanks for stopping by my little space.  Hugs.  Juli

What a beautiful tribute to her.
And you know, I am certain she is the young lady she is today because of the love and inspiration from her mother. : )
