~A Peek into Our Week~

This was one of my husband's Father's Day gifts this year.  He loves Banana Split's, so I purchased him his own Banana Split dish, and made him one!

Here is Steven with three of the children on Father's Day.
Here is a photo of my sister Tricia and I shopping the other day.  Our family went to Lawrence, so we got to see our friends and family there.  I was so in the moments, I forgot to take too many photos.  I got to have lunch with my cousin Teri and my Mom.   I got to see my nieces Madison and Sarah and Madison's wonderful boyfriend Brad and Sarah's new precious baby Reese.   I got to see my father and my dear friend Angelina. I got to see my little nephew, Lilam, my nephew Max and my brother and sister in law, Matt and Michelle. I got to spend a nice amount of time with my sister Lori, and my brother in law Pradeep and sweet little Lilah.
I did take a few photos, so I will post the ones I have.
Here are Lauren and Megan with my sweet little niece Lilah!

Here is my friend Angelina.  We stopped into a little restaurant so she could have a late lunch.

I had a very special treat!  This is a shop I loved when I lived in Lawrence.  I had not been there in a great many years.  It is called Waxman.  They make hand made candles that are just out of this world amazing.  This awesome young lady named Chloe offered to show us behind the scenes of Waxman.  This was like a little dream for me.  They are now making ceramics for their candles.  Chloe talked about how the owner of Waxman is such a creative person, and a life time learner.  What an inspiration.

Here are a couple of photos of where they create their wonderful candles.
They even have a swing!!!  It was such an amazing experience for me to get to see Waxman Candles once again, and see where they are made!  I was a happy camper!
Here is a photo of Angelina in her new apartment.  It was beautiful!
Lori and Lilah stayed the night at my parents house one night.  Here is my mom with Lilah, while she had a little snack.  The next morning Lori, Pradeep, Lilah and Liam and our family went to brunch at the Merc before we had to head home.  It was such a nice time!
Here are some hand painted pictures at an art gallery shop in Lawrence that caught my eye.  They were rather costly, so I just enjoyed looking at them.
Here is Megan outside of a Mexican restaurant we ate at.  She is so cute!
The girls and I enjoyed a movie afternoon the other day.  We watched Trolls on Netflix.  It was pretty good!
I hope you enjoyed a little peek into our week.  The days have just flown by so fast, as we always seem to be doing something.  It has been such a blessing to have the children home on summer break.  Time goes by so fast, so I just am enjoying my children while they are still here.  I already have one who has flown the coop.  I hope you all have a nice rest of your week.  Thanks for stopping by my little space.  Hugs.  Juli
