~A Peek Into Our Weeks

Here is a display that reminds me of times gone by.  I have always loved the Little House books and how they describe going to the general store, so this makes my heart happy.
Here is my little desk area.  I love having this desk to use.  I purchased it back in college and my husband refinished it as a gift for me years ago.  I will always treasure this old teacher's desk.
Here is a drawer in my desk where I keep my stationary.  I have some wax for seals in here, but I prefer the kind that you put in a glue gun.
Here is a wall in my husband and I's room.  I love Norman Rockwell so these paintings are a blessing to my heart to look upon each day.  Also the snoopy felt banner is one that had been in my grandma's house that I remember from my childhood.  It is very special to me.
Here is a picture that my son sent to me of my grand kitty.  She is so fluffy and so cute!
My daughter Megan drew this picture of baby Leo.  She is such a good artist.
Here is sweet baby Leo taking a nap the other day.
I love helping Lauren in the afternoons so that she can rest or get some things done.  Being a grandma is such a blessing to my heart.  I have not been able to go over this week due to having a cold.
It has been a bit of a busy week for us.  My daughter Megan is nominated for prom queen at her school, so we have been busy with events leading up to prom.  Today I plan to take it easy and rest due to the fact that I am a little under the weather.  I think a day of rest will be a blessing to me.
I hope you are all doing well and I want to thank you for stopping by my little space.  I hope you have a cozy week.  God bless, and hugs to you.  ~Juli

  1. I didn't know there were wax seals that you can put in a glue gun! Shoulda known ;) Your desk drawer looks so much like mine, with floral stationery and pretties that make us happy.
What a darling General Store and the tin behind it, love! - I was given a tin of a Library in the snow with a red cardinal in the foreground. I need to give that to my niece who's a librarian.
I see you like oil lamps, too :). They are so cozy and practical, too.
Your grand-kitty is lovely and sweet.
Oh, I knew you'd love being Leo's grammy. What a precious picture of the two of you.
Do take good care of yourself - it's sure no fun being sick.
    You've been blessed!
    Mary
