~A Peek Into Our Week

I have found that when I have a grateful heart for the blessings in my life, I am happier even when life's storms may come.
Here is what my bed looks like most mornings.  I do my daily devotionals and read my Bible.  It is so very important to me to make time to spend with God and reading his word.  I keep all of my devotionals and my Bible and prayer journal in that large bag, so it is always together.
Here is what my little desk looks like right now.  I like to put a crackling fire video from YouTube on so it makes a cozy feel.
I added this little heart hand towel to my little kitchen.  I love things that add cuteness to our little home.

I am on book number 23 in my Sugar Creek Amish Mysteries series.  I have been reading them very slowly over the last couple of years so as  not to finish them too fast.  I just love them so very much.  Reading is such a blessing in my life and I have a nice little selection in my home library so I should be content for a very long time.
I decorated my planner for Valentines day.  It is such a joy to my heart to decorate my planner from time to time.

I hope you are all doing well.  My family has had a lot of sickness lately but we are all doing okay.  I am staying cozy inside our little house during these cold winter days.  When the weather is harsh outside, it just makes my heart thankful for our little house that keeps us safe and warm.  I hope you are doing well.  Thank you for stopping by my space.  Hugs to you.  ~Juli

  1. I like the idea of a fire in your fireplace on your computer. I will check into the mystery series you’re reading. Yes, it is fun decorating our planners!
The Lord seems to reward us faithfully when we take or make the time to spend in His word. We get doubly blessed. Nothing satisfies the deep longings of my heart and soul like His Spirit and His Word. And, those around us get blessed, too.
I love that your home is a warm, cozy haven for you.
    Bless you and yours, Mary

  3. I hope your all feeling better.
Stay snuggly and warm. I like the idea of having a bag to keep my Bible and a study guide. I think I'll find a little tote bag
    For mine.

  5. Hi friend!! Yes! I love your cozy home! I am currently looking for a used, oversized chair and ottoman to put in our guest room to use for my devotional / Bible time. Right now I am in the Living room and it is a bit hard to focus. I have a big basket that looks like your bag! I love the Amish books as well. That series is uplifting and keeps me reading. I just love them. I am glad you are all feeling better. Please stay well and post more! ♥♥♥
