~A Peek Into Our Week

Steven and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary.  He took the day off of work and we went on a little out and about and then ate at our favorite Amish restaurant.  He purchased me this little Amish figurine.

I always enjoy looking at the cute displays after we eat the yummy home style meal.

Here are the four devotionals that I read each day.  I just enjoy time to focus on Jesus each and every day.  I am a firm believer that true peace and contentment come from no other way except Him.

This is a little sign that I have on my wall.  I like to sprinkle little reminders around our home to draw close to our Lord.
We had an extra room downstairs, so we turned it into a workout room and a room for my books.  I am tickled to finally have bookshelves to house my home library.
I am reading Little Women right now.  I actually like to read a few books at a time so that I can have variety.  Books are such a blessing to my life.
Megan and I had a Smurf fest the other day.  We watched a few episodes of one of my all time favorite cartoons ever made.

I want to thank you for taking time to stop by my little space.  I am going to work on laundry today, as I have a lot of it needing to be done.  Other than that, it is going to be a quiet homey sort of day.  I enjoy going out but truly my favorite place to be is in our humble little home.  Have a cozy weekend.  Hugs to you.  ~Juli

  4. Yes, Happy Anniversary to you and your DH! How fun to go to an Amish restaurant and shop. I love the Spurgeon Morning and Evening devos and the Jesus Calling, too. Haven't read the others...yet ;). I'm realizing my need to hear Jesus better.
    Blessings,
